Arnoud van den Berg is one of the leading bass players in gypsyjazz. He has been a member of the Robin Nolan Trio since 2007 and accompanied the infamous Jimmy Rosenberg for several years.
Originally inspired by Paul McCartney, Arnoud started with blues and rock on electric bass before switching to the upright. He studied jazz at the Amsterdam Conservatory and in the years after, he teamed up with Dutch greats as Benjamin Herman and Anton Goudsmit.
At the turn of the century Arnoud began playing gypsyjazz. Since then he has been touring and recording with some of the most appreciated entrepreneurs in the genre: Stochelo Rosenberg, Mozes Rosenberg, Robin Nolan and Paulus Schäfer.
